Annual General Meeting 2011

Our 2011 AGM at Camp Hurontario was a great success. Check out some photos from the event here.

Matchedash Platform

On September 16th 2010 GBOS and MTM with McNamara Powerline installed a new platform on Matchedash Bay. This one is located on a Ducks Unlimited dyke off the Lawson Line in the Provincial Wildlife Preserve on Matchedash Bay overlooking the North River and extensive wetlands. We had support and encouragement from DU and MNR staff as well as our MTM partners to finally get the platform in place. Ospreys used a Heron nest about 1000 metres away this year, but the Heron site is tenuous as the supporting trees are falling. We used the same "out in the open" siting approach and platform design that has worked well for us at Tiny Marsh.
